Hi Sami, I’m 14 and in year 10. I have exactly the same problem with the WISE/RAF work experience. So it looks like we have missed the boat for work experience this year. You can contact any local garage for work experience with cars. You need to keep an eye on the WISE website to see if anything opens up.

If you live near Birmingham WES will be holding a session on Saturday 18 September at Aston Uni called ‘My Sparkling Career’ and there should be plenty of young engineers there to chat to you about work opportunities in different areas whether you plan to do an diploma / apprenticeship or foundation degree or degree.
