Question Answerers
We need more female scientists and engineers, technologists and mathematicians who can answer the STEM questions posted here.
Being an Answerer involves replying to selected questions from young women, their parents and careers advisors. It’s extremely simple and should not be time consuming. Everything is done via email. Questions come to this web site and the administrator forwards them to the person whose area of expertise is most relevant. You reply via email and we add your answer to the website.
You can withdraw from the scheme at any time, either temporarily or permanently, by simply writing the administrator an email.
At the present time we are particularly looking for women who work in the following areas:
astronomer botanist dentistry economist geneticist geologist mathematics medicine molecular biologist physicist planetary science
Administrative Assistant
We would love to find somebody who can spend a few minutes each week processing incoming questions, dispatching them to the most appropriate advisor and putting their answers onto this web site.
Access to the Internet and an email account are required but no special experience is needed as all appropriate training will be given.
