My son is considering studying engineering at university, probably civil but undecided. He has just started AS maths, physics, chemistry and DT . Any advice on appropriate work experience placements or courses he could take in the holidays would be gratefully accepted. We live in South Wales.
I have just started working at a school where there is a very low ratio of girls to boys opting for GCSE Resistant Materials and Engineering. I would like to encourage our year 7 and 8 girls into STEM courses. Are their any workshops for girls of 11-13yrs that can help?
Thanks
